Sustainability - End of Unit recap 

Post Unit assessment activity  for Values & Social Decision making:

Values - Feelings and concern for the environment
Social Decision Making - Decisions about possible social action / developing a sense of responsibility towards Sustainability

1. What have you learned about Sustainability during this unit? Name 3 things you didn't know before we started (*and be serious!)

2. WHY is it important to develop and utilize alternative forms of energy?

3. WHY is recycling so important? And HOW can we do better in our recycling efforts?

4. What is a green building? Why is it important to incorporate this type of construction into future construction projects?

5.  WHY do we need to conserve heating fuels?

6. WHY do we need to conserve gasoline?

7. WHY do we need to conserve electricity?

8. WHY do we need to conserve water? And IDENTIFY ways in which you can save water in your homes.
